Rose Pinter is a Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) registered Practitioner. She is an accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).


Rose started practicing acupuncture in 1985 and has continued to study and work in hospitals and clinics in SE Asia, China and Australia. She has a Diploma and a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She has also completed an advanced studies internship at the Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine and associated hospitals in Nanning, China and maintains her knowledge of current research and techniques through the attendance of professional conferences and training seminars.

Rose uses traditional acupuncture techniques as well as Tung and Tan style and has completed advanced studies in Facial Acupuncture. She is also trained in laser use as well as acupuncture for babies and children.

Rose is a general Chinese medicine practitioner and has experience using acupuncture and Chinese medicine for the symptoms arising from both acute and chronic health conditions such as: musculoskeletal pain and tension, allergic rhinitis; the symptoms associated with menopause such as insomnia and feelings of heat; conditions associated with infertility, IUI and IVF; itching and redness of skin conditions; sleeping problems; symptoms associated with stress and anxiety; symptoms of neurological disorders and post stroke sequelae. Rose works with people of all ages, from infancy to later life. As well as using acupuncture Rose may also prescribe Chinese Herbs in tea pill, capsule and granule form if required to aid healing. The products used are all TGA approved products.

She has volunteered her services in many communities in Sri Lanka, India and Australia and believes that acupuncture in particular is an affordable adjunct to community health. She now brings her skills and experience to the Hills community and surrounding country regions at her clinic WISE ACUPUNCTURE in Mundaring.
