For Your Health and Safety an update on COVID-19 and your treatment
Update on Covid-19 and your treatment
With the continuing transmission in WA, we all need to consider the impact of SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) in our wider community, especially those who are most vulnerable.
We want to reassure you that we have actively put systems and strategies in place to make the risk to you as low as possible.
Some of the many ways we have been making it safe to provide your treatment during this time:
Careful screening of all people attending for appointments.
A requirement for hand sanitising before entering have been in place for some time now.
Masks are preferred to be worn in this clinic but are not mandatory.
Practitioners have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
We have increased the number of medical grade HEPA 13 air filters with UV which are capable of removing virus particles from the air if they are present. The sealed filters remove particles down to 0.1 microns in size and provide additional protection against airborne infection.
Windows are frequently opened when using air-conditioning to allow free movement of air throughout the clinic and waiting area.
Rigorous cleaning of the clinic takes place after every patient leaves and at the end of each day. The medical grade detergent and disinfectant we use on the beds and all clinic surfaces is TGA approved and kills a wide range of microorganisms including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus.
We would be grateful if you could help us to maintain a safe environment in the following ways:
Please do not attend for an appointment if you have a cold and flu like or gastro symptoms. We can do Telehealth sessions in this case and prescribe herbs which may ease symptoms just call 9295 1778 for a call back or book online for a Telehealth session.
Please do not attend if you are a close contact of someone who has cold or flu like symptoms of or is a confirmed case of Covid-19.
Please do not attend if you are isolating or awaiting results of a Covid-19 test.
Please use the hand sanitizer provided upon arrival.
We will be asking new clients or those we have not seen for some time for their vaccination status on the intake form for their private health record only. We do not discriminate against those who choose not to be vaccinated.
Evidence from around the world suggest that with the above strategies in place we can continue to provide your treatment safely and effectively.
If you are at all unsure about any aspect of your visit, please call 9295 1778 and we will be happy to help.
Take care and stay well, Wise Acupuncture
